Feeling emboldened by how well the new light fixture in the family room eating area looks, we decided to take down the old light fixture in the dining room and put a more modern light in its place.
We both love how it turned out and are thinking of changing out all the old light fixtures in the bedrooms as well.
I wish we’d had the foresight to take a before pic of the dining room with the old light fixture. It’s been hanging there for about 30-odd years so one of these days when I find an old picture, I will add it to this post. In the meantime, here is the decommissioned light followed by the new drum light in the space.
