Our floors have been covered over in paper. What we can see of them looks nice. The crew is now in the process of adding new baseboard, door and window millwork. The original brown moulding was getting tired and the new stuff looks so much more cheerful.
You might also notice that we have put a coat of paint on the living room walls. It may require some touch-up once the work is done, but we like the color. It’s called “ancient marble.” It looks much different as the light changes throughout the day. It can appear really sagey or gray depending on the light.
Sorry for the hasty post. We are running around patching walls and painting window sills and ceilings this weekend. More pictures to come.
