I have never grown peaches before. Honestly, I had no reason to expect that a peach tree would bear fruit the first year it was planted, but lookie here. Our little tree has about 10 baby fuzz balls on it.
The tree blooms in the very early spring. Now I think I understand why they are so vulnerable to frost. They need to be sprayed with an antifungal at certain points during the year and I will have to prune it – once I learn how.
