Our kitchen has been mostly complete since November.
We’ve been waiting on our backordered microwave since then. Several promised dates came and went. Finally, it was delivered on January 10th and installed on the 13th.
And today is the 18th and I haven’t needed to use it yet! Oh well. It will get plenty of use.
Our kitchen project is officially finished. Honestly, it was a lot of money to renovate the kitchen (and refinish hardwood floors, add new baseboards and window trim, update our powder room and laundry area, and add new closet doors to the back of the home). But it is absolutely beautiful and we enjoy cooking and working in the kitchen.
I am a homebody. I enjoy being home. But I also want to live in a colorful, pleasant, organized space. We’ve got that now.
On to the next project!
